I did the painting "Hawaiian Christmas Prayer" for a woman whose husband had just deployed overseas to the 1992 Iraq war. She asked me to paint a little girl in prayer over a photograph of her father.

I bought this print along with many others at a showing in Sacramento. I have always loved your artwork as it reminds me of family and home. This print is hung on our mantle every Christmas. It is even more beautiful now knowing the sentiment behind it's creation.
